he 60th Idea Filmfare Awards Distribution Ceremony for South was held grandeur at Hyderabad Convention Center in Hyderabad on Saturday,20th July. Power Star Pawan kalyan was announced the Best Actor(male) for ‘Gabbar Singh’. However, on behalf of pawan kalyan, Mega Power Star Ram Charan received the award, as the former could not attend the function. It is a known news that recently, pawan kalyan was conferred the best actor in MAA Awards ceremony. Likely, he may bag more number of best actor awards this year for ‘Gabbar Singh’.
Meanwhile, Samantha received the best actress(female) award for her performance in ‘Eega’. Looking into the other categories of awards, best dirctor, Rajamouli for ‘Eega’, best musician, Devi Sri Prasad for ‘GS’, best playback singer V.Srinivas for ‘GS’( Gannulanti) received the awards. Vani Jayaram bagged Lifetime Achievement Award, while Bapu was conferred Lifetime Award.
