Rajiv S Ruia's 'Zindagi 50-50' is also hitting the screens this week. The film stars Veena Malik, Riya Sen, Rajan Verma, Arya Babbar and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
Pakistani actress Veena Malik says her role in 'Zindagi 50-50' is more realistic than bold.
"I think this character is realistic rather than bold. This is a true story of a girl and I have given more than my 100 percent, thanks to Madhuri, the character I am playing," Veena said at the music launch of the film.
Veena plays Madhuri, a sex worker in the real-life inspired film. She even met the real sex worker as part of her preparation for the role.
"I met her. Had I not met her, I would not have been able to play this character with such ease," she said.
Meanwhile, Veena who has shown a keen interest in working with the Khans, said: "I love all three Khans, be it Aamir, Shah Rukh or Salman. I would love to get a chance to work with them. But I think even if Veena Malik does not work with any of them, she will still remain Veena Malik."
Fielding questions about her raunchy MMS video that went viral, Veena clarified that the clipping was a scene from 'Zindagi 50-50.'
"It's a footage of one of the songs of the film that shows me and (actor) Rajan Verma... It is not an MMS clip, it's a clipping from the movie Zindagi 50-50," Malik told reporters during a media conference.
The video that gathered millions of hits on social networking sites shows the actress in a compromising position with co-actor Verma.
"Its a beautiful scene... Beautiful intimate song sung by Rekha Bharadwaj. We are not romancing... It's an intimate scene between the characters Madhuri (enacted by Malik) and Birju (played by Verma)," Malik told reporters.
Malik became a household name post her appearance in Indian television reality show 'Bigg Boss Season 4' in October 2010.
Since then, Malik has been in the spotlight for some controversy or the other.
"The relationship is such that even if I leave the controversies aside, they don't desert me. Wherever I go, controversies follow me... I dont want to talk about controversies," Malik said.</div>
