Khaidhi which released in 1983 is a mile stone film in Chiranjeevi’s career. With Khaidi, he firmed up his position as leading actor and later became Megastar. Producer Tandra Ramesh, a well-known name in Tamil films and recently launched a movie with Gopichand as hero, has bagged remake rights of Khaidi and is planning to produce it with a big hero.
Although Chiru’s son Ram Charan will be the first choice for this project, few months ago, there was also talk that Puri Jagannadh was planning to remake it with Mahesh Babu as hero. So it remains to be seen who would direct and who would act in it – Charan or Mahesh Babu?.
