here are reports again that Nayanthara is likely to essay Vidya Balan’s role in the critically and commercially acclaimed The Dirty Picture.
It was recently reported that the actress asked producer Ekta Kapoor for a whopping Rs 2.5 crore to essay the role to which the producer is said to have even agreed. When Chennai Times got in touch with Nayanthara to confirm whether she had indeed signed on the Tamil-Telugu remake of this film, which is loosely based on Silk Smitha’s life story, for this whopping amount, she said, “No, I am not doing it.” Guess this puts to rest all those stories.
