Malayalam actress Mithra Kurien, who acted in Vijay’s Kaavalan is back afcter a gap to play heroine to Sivaji Dev, grandson of thespian Sivaji Ganesan in a film titled Nandhanam.
It is touted to be a city-based subject and the story takes place in an IT company situated in a place called ‘Nandhanam’. The project is directed by Shyamalan.
Mithra said she got a lot of offers after ‘Kaavalan’ but she found that either the script was not up to the mark or they had newcomers in the lead. ‘When this film with a different subject came up, I did not let it go,’ she said.
