This year’s FICCI MEBC edition will feature some distinguished people from the media industry sharing their viewpoints on the industry’s impact thus far and its potential growth in the future. The event will be held across two days Oct 16th and 17th at the Park Sheraton Hotel in Chennai.
The comprehensive schedule of the event addresses key areas through moderated discussions on topics such as Opportunities in the digitized era, the next century of Indian cinema, Taxation issues, 100 years of sound in cinema, the evolution of Indian women on screen and more. The list of participants in these discussions range from cinema legends and media veterans and will certainly throw light on the changing times of the industry. The elite panel includes Kamal Hassan, Mammootty, Mohan Lal, Soundarya Rajinikanth, Dhanush, Illayaraja, Resul Pookutty, Asin, Barrie Osborne and a host of more stalwarts.
The inaugural address will be given by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr. J. Jayalalitha herself. Members from the Ministry of Broadcasting & Information will also be present at the event.
