Anil Sunkara, one of the producers of super hit film Dookudu is making his debut as director with an upcoming film Action. Allari Naresh, Kick Shyam, Vaibhav, Raju Sundaram, Kamna Jethmalani, Vimala Raman, Sneha Ullal and Neelam Upadhyaya are lead cast in this multi starrer movie. Action is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and it is being shot as 3D with Red One camera system handled by Sarvesh Murari with technicians brought in from USA to guide production.
An inner source informed us that, this film is hugely inspired by a Hollywood super hit film ‘The Hangover’ and the director made enough changes to script to suit Telugu and Tamil nativity respectively. The film is being made with a whopping budget of around Rs.20 crores and it is the first 3D film in Telugu. Bappa Lahiri, son of Bappi Lahiri is rendering the songs and Thaman will compose background score. Sunkara Ramabrahmam is producing it. We need to wait for some more time to know, whether Action is really inspired from ‘The Hangover’?
