Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan has got a release date, so it seems finally. The makers are planning a worldwide release in July 2013 in all the languages – Tamil, Telugu, English and Hindi. Details about the release of the movie were declared by the film’s co-producer Dr J. Murali Manohar. He said that July seems to be a feasible time. The post-production work would be finished by April. The makers of the movie have left the post-production decisions to Studio D and they have decided to edit the film to a playing-time of 2 hours and 5 minutes. Few days back, Rajinikanth, Soundarya R Ashwin and director K.S. Ravikumar watched the edited version of the “Kochadaiyaan.” Rajini was thrilled on seeing the final outcome of the film. He was stunned by the special effects and the techniques used in the film. Confirming the news, Soundarya posted a message on twitter saying, “One of THE most important days of my life. Kochadaiyaan locked :) Appa& ks Ravikumar uncle watched the entire movie and r thrilled!!! :):):)” Kochadaiyaan has been made using 3D motion capture technology, the first of its kind in India. The movie will show Rajinikanth in a completely new avatar. The Hollywood company, Stereo 3D, which did the 3D for the Hollywood film, The Avengers, had worked on the motion capture technique in 3D for Kochadaiyaan. Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya, director of the movie will leave for China and London around March 15 to give final touches to the VFX of her film Kochadaiyaan. The film has created a lot of expectation among Rajini fans worldwide, as this film is the comeback film post his illness. The superstar’s last outing “Endhiran” (Robot) was released in 2010 and it was one of the highest-grossing Indian films. Dr. Manohar has further revealed that the film’s budget has crossed 100 crores.
